Large Squares, 1965 -Last BeetleThe body is much the same as the previous model, aside from increase in window size all round. Door handles and lock mechanisms also changed as well as seat and dashboard designs. Chrome beading became thinner, mounting holes for these also smaller. Chrome was later replaced by black anodizing or plastic to try and modernize the Bug. Tail light clusters changed from the oval shape to the ‘headstone’ and then the ‘elephant’s foot’ jumbo units the bug saw its last days with. In 1965 new larger windows all round. 1966 saw the last 6v bug, and also the first 1300cc motor. Those horrible little air vents behind the rear side windows came out in 1971 that caused lots of rusty bugs. Sloping headlights looked much nicer but went out in 1967.
— Christina EngelaEvery day as I wave to my children when I drop them off at school, or let one of them have a new experience—like crossing the street without holding my hand—I experience the struggle between love and non-attachment. It is hard to bear—the extreme love of one’s child and the thought that ultimately the child belongs to the world. There is this horrible design flaw—children are supposed to grow up and away from you; and one of you will die first.
— Sarah RuhlThere were relatives of their victims among the Hogwarts students, who now found themselves the unwilling objects of a gruesome sort of reflected fame as they walked the corridors: Susan Bones, whose uncle, aunt, and cousins had all died at the hands of one of the ten, said miserably during Herbology that she now had a good idea what it felt like to be Harry.'And I don't know how you stand it- it's horrible' she said bluntly.
— J.K. RowlingIf you read something, what you have written you ain't gonna like it...- It sounds horrible... So write don't read your own stuff.
— Deyth BangerMark nodded even though she couldn't see. He'd suddenly lost any desire to talk, and his plans for a perfect day washed away with the stream. The memories. They never let him go, not even for a half hour. They always had to rush back in, bringing all the horror.
— James DashnerIf that was the last event of the night, it would have made a terrible ending. It was just the beginning, though.
— John duoverDreams are horrible, to don't talk about nightmares they are more often. But there is always one gift from a person which you know is dead, that's how it works and it will continue to work.
— Deyth BangerMaking and thinking about somebody is special... You go in the tracks of saying that you are horrible and not anymore special.
— Deyth BangerYou're not horrible, Kelsey. You are vibrant and beautiful, and you burn. Burn so vividly. Fires can damage, but they're also beautiful and vital and they can purify and give the chance for a fresh start. You're not horrible. Not at all.
— Cora CarmackI believe the spreading of Catholicism to be the most horrible means of political and social degradation left in the world.
